Guess what! I stepped on the scale for this first time in months and I weighed exactly the same as I did at the beginning of the year!

I could have been frustrated and focused on that number, but over the past couple of years, I have learned so much about myself and that silly scale!

The scale does not tell me how my clothes fit!
The scale does not tell me how much harder I can push in my workouts!
The scale does not tell me how much more confident I am in myself!
The scale does not tell me that my belly bloat is going away!
The scale does not define me!

Pictures may be hard for you to take, but I promise you they tell you so much more than the number on a scale! This first pic is from beginning of the year and the second one is two months later!

I see a difference and I am proud of that! I've been working hard despite my ups and downs! Be proud of what you are doing and focus on where you are and what you can do today rather than a number on the scale!




We all start at different places and where that is does not matter as long as you just get started!
Taking that first step is always the hardest, but once you take that step, the rest starts up fall into place!
Just start! Make a small change today in your daily habits that will move you one step closer to your goal! And then do it again tomorrow and the next day and the next day!
